Voor de ST2 met 26" wielen is er geen keuzestress: de 54-559 Granturismo is de enige die past.

Ik kijk uit naar deze band Mooi alternatief voor de Schwalbes waar overigens nog genoeg profiel op zit. Het plan is om komende herfst op de pirelli's te rijden en in de winter wederom op de wintercontis.

Na mijn uitermate positieve ervaringen met de Continental TopContact II zie ik mezelf nog niet meteen Pirelli's monteren.

Wie heeft er al een beeld van of de banden van de ST3 en ST5 ook geschikt zullen zijn om veilig in de winter te rijden? Wat zouden in die maat winterband alternatieven zijn?

Stromer beantwoord zelf mijn vraag in de 2018-2019 folder:

Cold weather grip door smartnet silica. Een mond vol. Ik ben benieuwd hoe dat zich in de praktijk gaat vertalen. Volgens stromer dus een soort all season band. Wellicht dat dat ook het plakken in de zomer verklaard dat ik hier gelezen heb.

Wat is precies de bandenmaat van de ST3 en ST5? Volgens mij zijn zowel de winter Conti's als de Schwalbe 365GT all-season in 27,5" te krijgen.

Volgens EBR review voor de ST5 is de maat 27.5x2.4 (57-584).

Al iemand ervaring met Pirelli's op nat wegdek ?

Misschien spreek ik voor mijn beurt maar ik heb wel het gevoel dat ik onder nat weer condities met de ST2 met Conti’s meer durfde dan met de ST5. Maar misschien is het nog een kwestie van wennen en de fiets beter leren kennen...
